DEBURRING, ROUGHNESS AND DECORATION
Sandblasting and bead-blasting are industrial techniques for preparing surfaces using an abrasive that is projected at high speed onto the material to be treated. Surface preparation using sandblasting or bead-blasting is used to accentuate roughness, for decorative purposes and for deburring. After being sandblasted, the items have a matt, greyish appearance. Projecting microbeads under controlled pressure enables us to restore shine to individual items.
